Dancehall-bred and orchestrated like old soul, Bonjay sounds like something new. Featuring Alanna Stuart and Ian Swain of Toronto, their debut Broughtupsy EP established them with international praise while their latest album, Lush Life, landed on the coveted Polaris Music Prize Long List in 2018. Calgary hip hop-house DJ Prairie Chola Ayatollah opens. The concert takes place September 8, 2018 at the King Eddy (438 9th Ave. SE). Doors open at 8:30pm with the show at 9:00pm. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 the day of the show.
