The 14th annual Calgary International Bluesfest features a full week jam-packed with the best of the genre including workshops, special events, nightly dance parties, and a rocking mainstage. The 2018 lineup includes BB King’s Blues Band, Chicago Blues Reunion, Dawn Tyler Watson, Jim Byrnes, Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials, Popa Chubby, Sue Foley, and many more. And don’t forget to check out some great, free events during the front half of the week! These include a blues guitar workshop with Tim Williams on July 31, as well as Blues at Noon with ProArts and A Walk Through Blues History with musician and historian John Rutherford on August 1.
