If you’re excited for the upcoming Calgary International Film Festival this weekend offers the perfect chance to wet your whistle. On September 9, 2016 CIFF is taking over the Globe Cinema to show off all the trailers for this year’s lineup!

Whether you’ve never been or you’re a grizzled veteran of years past, this the perfect way to get familiar with the films. Grab a schedule, a pen and a beer and get ready to figure out your must-see list.

Hosted by Brock Mitchell, co-founder of Calgary based production boutique DDG, the evening will include free popcorn and a chance to drink from the festival’s brand new custom cans from Big Rock Brewery.

The first 100 attendees will get a festival Survival Pack filled with of some necessary supplies for long days of movie-watching. And there’s even a film-themed scavenger hunt with a chance to win a 10-pack of general admission tickets.

Calgary International Film Festival Trailer Party takes place from 4:00 to 7:00pm on September 9, 2016 at the Globe Cinema (617 8th Ave. SW). Please note, this event is licensed 18+. Buy your festival pass or ticket pack now at General admission film tickets go on sale September 7, 2016.
