Have a sweet tooth and a love of French Canadian culture? Join the Association Canadienne-Française de l’Alberta, régionale de Calgary for the 16th annual Calgary Maple Festival.

With entertainment for visitors of all ages, catch French Canadian, Métis, and First Nations Folkloric music and dances, demonstrations, workshops, storytelling, and exhibits alongside a traditional sugar shack meal and a sugar market. Guests can even take in outdoor activities, games, wagon rides, and the not-to-be-missed maple taffy on snow.

And make sure you visit the newest building on site, an authentic replica of an early 20th century sugar shack where interpreters and animators share the stories and legends behind this tradition.

The Calgary Maple Festival runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm on March 3 and 4, 2018 at Heritage Park Historical Village (1900 Heritage Dr. SW).
