We’re all storytellers in our own right, so why not practice telling your tale at this upcoming a night of live storytelling?

Come to either listen, judge or to tell a story—anyone can! Storytellers sign up at the beginning of the evening, the order is randomly drawn and judges will also be randomly picked.

How it works is simple—all stories must be a maximum of five minutes in length, be mostly true and about you (first person narrative). All stories must fit in someway with the chosen theme and there are no notes or reading aloud allowed. No experience necessary.

This month’s theme is Catch Up and the slam takes place at 7:00pm on November 17, 2016 at 80th & Ivy Modern Kitchen (1127 17th Ave. SW).
