The Listening Room YYC Presents The Classics launches this week with Deanne Matley taking the stage. The new series takes place on the third Wednesday of each month (with the exception December), each featuring classic jazz music inspired by the artists who made the songs memorable! Featuring favourite local singers and musicians, the intimate performance environment allows vocalists and The Listening Room’s All-Star House Band to present their own creative take on beloved music. This month’s show features an evening of song inspired by Julie London. The Classics featuring Deanne Matley takes place September 21, 2016 at Red Bush Tea & Coffee Co. (225 10th St. NW) with a pre-show reception slated for 6:30pm. A $20 single event community membership is available at the door.
