A creative blend of fiction and documentary, join Calgary Cinematheque as it continues its Contemporary World Cinema series with Nelson Carlo de Los Santos Arias’ Cocote.

This award-winning film sheds an overdue cinematic spotlight on the Dominican Republic and blends fiction with documentary storytelling. Mixing different film stocks and different camera styles, the piece has been called an exciting new voice in international cinema.
