A democratic platform for expression, join in as a performer or as an audience member. This is your chance to see the top spoken word talent in the city. You can even join in for an open mic. The December Open Mic & Poetry Slam takes place on December 12, 2017 at Dickens Pub (1000 9th Ave. SW). Signup for both the open mic and the slam is released at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Admission is $10 cash at door, with a sliding scale for those who identify as low-income or students.
