A Canadian premiere from composer Joby Talbot and librettist Gene Scheer, join Calgary Opera for its gripping production of Everest. This new opera chronicles the events of the 1996 Mount Everest tragedy made famous by Jon Krakauer’s bestselling book Into Thin Air and the recent blockbuster film.
