Polish up your boots, dust off your hat and get ready for this year’s Calgary Stampede – which of course includes the return of First Flip, an annual community event for visitors and Calgarians to celebrate our city’s community spirit, experience live performances, and enjoy the first tasty pancake breakfast of the season!

Located on Stephen Ave. Walk between 1st St. SE and Centre St., First Flip features mainstage entertainment by Red Hot Hayseed, followed by roving entertainment by Emily Triggs, Justine Vandergrift, Liz Christensen, Green Fools and Chinook Country Line Dancers. Calgary Arts Development’s President and CEO, Patti Pon, and director of Engagement & Reconciliation, Sable Sweetgrass, will also give short remarks during the event.

If that lineup isn’t enough, you’ll be treated to pancakes flipped and served to you by members of the City of Calgary’s civic partners!

First Flip is proudly hosted by Calgary Downtown Association, Calgary Arts Development, Calgary Economic Development, Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, Platform Calgary and Tourism Calgary.
