ProArts Presents La VIe Choir

Founded in 2013 and based in Calgary, this choir is made up of six classically trained singers—Melanie Baux, Aiofe Donnelly, Celia Lee, Catherine Lippitt, Sara Staples, and Lauren Woods. Join them this Wednesday for a free lunch hour concert of winter and snow songs.

NEXT2016 Curator Tour with Lisa Baldissera

Rescheduled from last week, Contemporary Calgary’s Senior Curator, Lisa Baldissera will be giving a tour of NEXT2016. Presented as part of NEXT, the show invites artists to investigate the potential of post-studio practices, and how practices may manifest themselves within an exhibition space.

Last Minute Christmas Sale

To close out the 2016 season, Bee Kingdom is hosting one more event at its glassblowing studio. Stop by to soak in some glassblowing demonstrations including the creation of themed goblets and cupcakes, experimental bowls and vases, and unpredictable things. Then head into the home gallery to shop a variety in available glass pieces ranging from $20 to $2,000.

Master Class for Families

Join the Esker Foundation for an afternoon of family fun at the gallery that delves into new mediums with art projects that relate to its current exhibitions. An educational, energetic, hands-on program for kids ages five to 10, an adult is required to stay for the duration of the workshop. All materials will be provided.
