Riverview Artists Fall Show & Sale

The 12 artists who make up the Riverview Artists Group invite you to view their latest exhibit of original paintings. Finding inspiration in a wide range of subjects, they express their ideas in a variety of styles and techniques. There’s even a chance to win a unique painting.

Marda Loop Justice Film Fest

This festival is more than just film—its about film with a social edge. Screenings include post-show discussions with local and international artists and experts, as well as opportunities to interact and connect with community. There’s even an NGO village allowing festival goers to connect with representatives from local non-profit groups.

ProArts Presents Calgary Opera Emerging Artist Program Ensemble

VSVSVS Artist Talk

Small Box Architecture Workshop with Laura Vickerson

Join TRUCK Contemporary Art in Calgary for this open forum discussion in collaboration with its recent exhibition Cecil Hotel by Calgary-based artist Mark Clintberg. This round table aims to provide an opportunity for open and inclusive conversation relating to the subject of the Cecil Hotel and places like it. The discussion is free to attend and open to all.

Printed Matter Affair

This two-day public event is geared at fostering a public conversation and platform to feature printed matter from artists and organizations from Alberta. The printed matter includes zines, books, prints, and other miscellany such as bags, buttons, stickers and patches. Be on the lookout for daily talks and workshops as well.

Master Class for Families

Join the Esker Foundation for an afternoon of family fun at the gallery! Every month they delve into new mediums with art projects that relate to the current exhibitions in this educational, energetic, hands-on program for kids aged five to 10.
