ProArts@Noon Presents Fluid Fest

Rosanna Terracciano initiated the This is Flamenco series to share the powerful trinity of flamenco song, guitar and dance with Calgary audiences. Terracciano will be joined by David Matyas on flamenco guitar, Jonathan Lewis on violin, and special guest vocalist Domenica Vizzutti, at this free lunch hour concert.

This evening brings together films of two artists who are known for designing and performing through complex costumes—Katherine Knight and Cuban artist Yali Romagoza. Co-presented by M:ST Performative Art Festival and the Open AiR artist residency program from The City of Calgary, this evening marks the perfect kick off to M:ST 8, running October 21 to 26 in Calgary.

Mountain Standard Time Performative Art Festival (M:ST)

Alberta’s only biennial festival of performative art returns for its eighth edition this October. M:ST celebrates innovative and critical performative art from Southern Alberta and also features lectures, film screenings, panels discussions, exhibitions, and interactive workshops. And many of them are free.

Launch of the Contemporary Art Map Calgary
