Launching its 16th season, Calgary’s Fire Exit Theatre imagines the meeting of two of the 20th century’s greatest academics in Freud’s Last Session.

Written By Mark St. Germain and directed by Daniel van Heyst, the production is filled with humanity, humour, and razor-sharp dialogue. As the world sits on the brink of war, author and former atheist C.S. Lewis visits the London home of Dr. Sigmund Freud. Amidst evacuations and air raid sirens the two legendary scholars debate religion, sex, love, the existence of God, and the meaning of life itself.

Freud’s Last Session runs October 18 to 22, 2017 at the Engineered Air Theatre, Arts Commons (225 8th Ave. SE).
