Now, see that history in a special pop-up exhibition. Calgarians are invited to explore this show featuring 50 artworks that represent Glenbow’s expansive collection in celebration of its 50th anniversary. And the best part? You can do so for only 50 cents. Glenbow’s curatorial team worked hard to narrow 30,000 pieces down to 50 and have selected great works that have artistic significance and depth in meaning. These include pieces that are unique to Calgary and tell our story. Glenbow at 50 runs October 1 to 5, 2016 at Glenbow (130 9th Ave. SE) and is open Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am to 9:00pm.
