Honouring GlobalFest’s 15th anniversary and Canada 150, look for a Canadian driven cultural celebration full of food, fireworks, and so much more. They’ve even added an extra night to the program meaning you have six chances to get out and take part in the multicultural activities.

Partnering once again with Trico Homes for the International Fireworks Festival and Sunbelt Rentals for the OneWorld Festival, look to the sky for a symphony of pyrotechnics and music. For 2017, all the competing teams represent Canadian regions including the West, Prairies, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic, as well as the renowned finale display. And don’t forget to check out the OneWorld Festival. Full of various activities including live performances, cultural pavilions, a children’s village, ethnic food booths, and a night market, this inclusive, world-class, multi-faceted arts and cultural festival is a summer-must.

GlobalFest runs August 15 to 26, 2017 at Elliston Park (corner of 17th Ave. and 60th St. SE) and is open from 6:00 to 11:30pm on competition days. Please note, there is no entry after 9:15pm. Head to for the full schedule.
