Alberta Theatre Projects

With half of its season left to be staged you can’t go wrong with a gift card for Alberta Theatre Projects. Celebrating its 45th anniversary, ATP is presenting an all-Canadian lineup and for $90 you can get two tickets to one of its upcoming shows.

Calgary Blues Fest

Calgary International Blues Festival’s annual holiday sale returns and features four-day passes for 2017 for just $99. And this year the sale has been expanded to include single day passes at $50, plus its Thursday two for one pass is also $50. Hurry. Prices go up on January 1, 2017 and all passes are transferrable.

Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra

Tickets to the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra make a great gift for music lovers young and old alike! GlobalFest 2017 Holiday Tickets

In honour of GlobalFest’s 15th anniversary and Canada’s 150th birthday, this annual summer festival features an all-Canadian lineup of presenting teams. From August 15 to 26, 2017, see six evenings of multicultural activities and choreographed pyromusical artistry!

GlobalFest’s annual holiday sale is always a great time to save with general admission tickets just $7.50, finale tickets $15, and GlobalPasses $42 until December 31, 2016. And for every ticket purchased during this promotion, GlobalFest will donate one ticket to its Individuals and Families-In-Need Program. Tickets and GlobalPasses can be found at all Calgary Co-op Customer Service Offices and online (subject to additional processing fees) while supplies last.

High Performance Rodeo

While passes to Calgary’s own High Performance Rodeo make a great gift, it’s the new $15 Wednesdays that has us buying stocking stuffers. Each Wednesday night during the Rodeo, January 5 to February 2, 2017, scoop up tickets for most shows at just $15 each (some restrictions apply). These include Brotherhood: The Hip Hopera, All The Little Animals I Have Eaten, 6 Guitars, All’s Well That Ends Well, and more. At that price, who could resist?

Loft on Eighth
