It’s a busy season of mingling, planning, and, of course, shopping. Arts and crafts take centre stage between now and mid-December with over 75 shows, sales and markets taking place in and around Calgary.

And the best part? Shopping at these sales helps support local makers of all kinds. Talk about a win-win!

Calgary Christmas Night Market

Mount Pleasant Potters’ Guild Christmas Sale

See works from members of this not-for-profit potters’ guild. This sale features the work of nearly 30 local potters who work out of the North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre—a facility operated by the City of Calgary. Look for a wide selection of functional and decorative pottery for sale, as well as specialty pieces such as Raku and wood fired pottery, all at excellent prices.

Foothills Holiday Roadshow

Fort Calgary Artisans’ Fair

Free with a non-perishable food donation for the Veterans’ Food Bank

Join Fort Calgary for a special Remembrance Day service at 10:30am, followed by an artisans’ market featuring over 60 talented local makers starting at 11:30am. Heritage Weavers and Spinners Annual Fall Sale
