Why not hit the stage at this slam and open mic night? Hosted by the Ink Spot Poetry Collective, the evening features National Slam Poetry Champion Andre Prefontaine and special guest Sheri-D Wilson. Judges from the audience will score the performances in three intense rounds of poetic excellence until a winner is crowned. To compete bring three poems for three minutes but please no props, musical instruments, animals or nudity. Entrance fee is $5 cash and sign-up starts at 7:00pm. Don’t want to share? An open mic will follow so come down and strut your stuff. Ink Spot’s Halloween Slam & Open Mic takes place at 8:00pm on October 31, 2016 at Wine-Ohs (811 1st SW).
