The first thing to die in a war is the truth—expressing this are the soulful and thought-provoking lyrics of Gulzar alongside satirical and entertaining dialogues by Manu Rishi.

Kya Dilli Kya Lahore is a 2014 Bollywood war drama film set in 1948’s post-Independence period and deals with the subject of Indo-Pak partition. Starring Vijay Raaz, Manu Rishi, Raj Zutshi, and Vishwajeet Pradhan in the lead roles, it credits Gulzar as the presenter. An experimental anti-war film, it is both poignant and poetic.
