Go on an adventure to an imaginary Mexico, like in a waking dream, where light quenches the spirit and rain soothes the soul. Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia cleverly brings to the stage multiple places, faces, and sounds of this stunning culture.

Through a series of grand visual surprises and breathtaking acrobatic performances, this traveling production invites Calgary audiences to escape on a surrealistic journey. Suspended somewhere between dreams and reality, the show combines tradition and modernity to create an awe-inspiring spectacle.

A total 115 people from 25 countries are part of the touring cast and crew and the show even incorporates rain into its acrobatic and artistic scenes—a first for a Cirque du Soleil touring production.

Luzia runs August 16 to September 22, 2019 at Stampede Park (1900 Big Four Tr. SE).
