A festival all about film with a social edge, the Marda Loop Justice Film Festival returns for its 13th year with a lineup of free socially conscious documentary screenings.

It’s your chance to see 18 films on topics that include US politics and diversity, gender equality, and environmental conservation. Screenings include post-show discussions with local and international artists and experts, as well as opportunities to interact and connect with community.

And, November 16 to 18, MLJFF has partnered with Plowshares Calgary to bring you the Peace Village where you can meet representatives from local non-profit groups to learn about their volunteer opportunities, and buy crafts and fair-trade items.

Marda Loop Justice Film Festival runs November 13 to 18, 2018. Head to for the full schedule.
