And her brother Matthew has become one of Canada’s most respected and admired singer songwriters. Combining her jazz with his folk and roots style, the two recently recorded The Family Album together after pouring through old records and making lists of their favourite songs. Showcasing the Barbers’ ability to interpret the works of others and craft their own songs that fit among the classics, their harmonies are sure to bring a chill and a tear. Head to Bragg Creek this Saturday to hear this pairing alongside opener Martin Kerr. The concert takes place on May 5, 2018 at the Bragg Creek Community Centre (23 White Avenue, Bragg Creek).
