Combining psych-pop arrangements with a measured amount of absurdity, Mother Sun produces music that weaves wistful melody through vibrant tones and intricate grooves.

A four-piece band from Kamloops, the group features Jared Doherty on guitar and vocals, Emilio Pagnotta on guitar and vocals, Alex Ward on organ and keys, and Jared Wilman on drums and vocals. Indie-rock act Octoduck opens.

Catch Mother Sun on August 16, 2018 at the King Eddy (438 9th Ave. SE). Doors open at 7:30pm with the show at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.
