A new series of organ concerts, join the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer this November for a solo recital from acclaimed local organist Neil Cockburn.

Featuring the Prelude and Fugue in E minor (“The Wedge”) by J.S. Bach, the 60 minute concert is a great chance to get a taste of organ music.

“My aim is to make it easier to hear a pipe organ playing some of the most glorious compositions ever written for a solo instrument,” says Cockburn, who is also the Director of Music at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer, in a statement. “So we’re experimenting with a one-hour concert length on Saturday evenings at 6:00pm when people might already have plans to come downtown to catch another show at one of the other performance venues.”

Neil Cockburn performs at 6:00pm on November 11, 2017 at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer (604 1st St. SE). Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at the door (cash only).
