Checking back and looking ahead, this New Year’s Eve is bound to be bigger and brighter than ever! With family-friendly offerings from The City of Calgary, the Calgary Zoo, and TELUS Spark, to a chance to laugh in 2018 with FunnyFest, there’s something for everyone to check out.

UPDATE: Outdoor Events Cancelled Due to Extreme Weather

Outdoor New Year’s Eve celebrations at Olympic Plaza (228 8th Ave. SE) have been cancelled due to extreme weather conditions. The Countdown Ball and ENMAX fireworks will be broadcasted on local television stations.

Noon Year’s Eve

The City of Calgary caps off the year with an evening featuring a family-friendly dance party, activities for all ages, and, of course, fireworks. And although the cold weather has cancelled the outdoor activities, the countdown ball still drops with the fireworks to be broadcast on local television stations.

A Luminous New Year’s Eve
