The Calgary Immigrant Educational Society has heard a lot of stories over the past 30 years—stories about challenge, about success, and about fortitude.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, One World Many Stories includes inspiring presentations, multicultural performances, and stories untold. Alongside live music and dance, the evening features guest speakers from many backgrounds including government officials, refugees, entrepreneurs, and artists.

There’s even a special performance of the play بالعكس / The Opposite by Sleman Aldib.

One World Many Stories takes place at 5:00pm on October 30, 2018 at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre (1316 33rd St. NE). Proceeds from this gala support language, counselling, and employment assistance programs for newcomers to our city.
