Born in Havana, Cuba, Pedro Pablo “Pedrito” Martinez is known as consummate master of Afro-Cuban folkloric music and plays the complex Oru seco exquisitely. The world’s first-call rumbero, Martinez has recorded and performed with Wynton Marsalis, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Bruno Mars, Lada Gaga, and more.
