NMC welcomes RBC Master in Residence for a public songwriters’ circle

Join the National Music Centre for an intimate songwriters’ circle with RBC Master in Residence Raine Maida.

Featuring three Alberta acts mentored by Maida, this songwriters’ circle is open to the public. The mentored acts, personally selected by Maida, include Calgary’s Copperhead along with Edmonton’s The Royal Foundry, and Two Bears North with each participating in one-on-one songwriting workshops earlier in the day

“You can never underestimate the power of creative collaboration. I’m looking forward to the upcoming RBC Master in Residence workshops with the National Music Centre and the chance to work with some truly talented artists,” says Maida in a statement.

The RBC Master in Residence program invites emerging artists to work with the master and each are chosen to inspire creativity, encourage innovation, share expertise, and provide mentorship.

RBC Master in Residence: Raine Maida takes place a 3:30pm on November 30, 2016 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE), and is included with admission.
