Then don’t miss the 2017 RBC Concerto Competition as music students from the University of Calgary and Mount Royal Conservatory perform with Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Selected during the fall preliminary competition, catch UCalgary’s Cameron Leahy and Laura Jones alongside MRU’s Yan Li and Angela Ryu. An annual competition, the winner gets the opportunity to be a soloist in additional performances with the Calgary Phil and receive mentorship opportunities with visiting conductors and soloists. The 2017 RBC Concerto Competition takes place at 8:00pm on March 9, 2017 at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary (206 University Court NW).
