And with Cowtown Opera’s season opener, you just might hear a thing or two. The Secret Lives of Corporate Calgary is a challenging yet theatrical construct with the production being not your average opera. Set in the Winter Garden at Jamieson Place there are no seats. Audiences get to follow the action instead during this one-hour original work. They themselves are part of the show as they travel to separate locations to follow the story. Under the direction of Aaron Coates and the musical direction of Carlos Foggin, this collaborative creation features performances by several of Cowtown Opera’s talented roster singers and is well worth checking out.
