Showcasing four films in its annual focus series, each is a robust example of her capacity as a performer and artistic ally. Calgary Cinematheque has curated this collection of films that the organization feels position Swinton as a quintessential component in Contemporary Cinema.

First up on November 24 is 1987’s The Last of England, followed by 2009’s I am Love on December 1 and 2003’s Young Adam on December 8. The series rounds out with the not-to-be-missed screening of 2008’s Julia on December 15.
