Get your dancing shoes ready, popular nighttime series Studio Bell After Hours returns and opens its fall season with experimental pop act Braids.

Featuring live DJs Kloves and Miss Hazard spinning on multiple levels, a performance from the JUNO award-winning and Polaris Prize shortlisted three-piece is sure to be a highlight. Also be on the lookout for a VR game room presented by the University of Calgary, an electronic drum circle experience, and a Studio Bell scavenger hunt that includes a National Music Centre prize pack for the winner.

“We learned a lot during the spring launch of After Hours and were blown away by the excitement and attendance for it. We also got some great feedback,” says Adam Fox, NMC’s Director of Programs, in a statement. “People wanted to come later and dance the night away, so we’re shifting hours to run from 7:00 to 11:00pm. We also wanted to provide more programming for the night and we’ll be including some light snacks with your ticket.”

The back-to-school edition of Studio Bell After Hours takes place from 7:00 to 11:00pm on September 22, 2017 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE).

Tickets must be purchased in advance. After Hours is a licensed event for those 18 years of age and older. All visitors must provide valid government issued photo ID.  Studio Bell After Hours returns October 27 and November 24, 2017—stay tuned for more details.
