A writing and performance workshop where immigrant women tell the stories of their journeys to Canada, don’t miss this delightful and enlightening project as it stops in Calgary.

Now in its fifth year, The Shoe Project was created by novelist Katherine Govier and incubated at the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto. Each participant is coached by veteran Canadian writers and theatre professionals, and tells the story of their arrival in Canada, through a pair of shoes.

The Shoe Project takes place at 7:30pm on January 21, 2018 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE) and is part of the High Performance Rodeo.
