Sharing the story of how the first Making Treaty 7 production came to be, don’t miss this world premiere screening that captures the creative methodology for the society’s artistic process.

In 2012, the late Michael Green began a conversation with members of the Treaty 7 community. What started initially as a brainstorming session about how to use theatre to tell the stories of Treaty 7 nations evolved into the creation of the Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society.

The process was captured on film by a team of videographers including Kelli Morning Bull and Neil Fleming. This documentary captures important footage from both the founders, the late Narcisse Blood and Green, and many other elders and participants.

Catch Making Treaty 7 Presents a Film Screening: Treaty People – Innaihtsiiyi at 7:00pm on March 14 and 15, 2019 at cSPACE King Edward (1721 29th Ave. SW).
