An all-Calgary team of dancers, actors, and choreographers use movement and storytelling to journey through Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, capoeira, hip hop, jazz, samba, salsa, step, and tap while celebrating their genesis, their contemporary popularity, and their ability to connect across cultures and continents. Produced by Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre and presented in association with Arts Commons, a portion of ticket sales go to support the Ribbon Rouge Foundation.
