An evening of theatre and chamber music, the Mountain View Connection Concert Series delves into the life of Misia Sert, patron of the arts and pupil of composer Gabriel Fauré.

A muse of Renoir and Toulouse-Lautrec, she became a sought after and influential patron of the arts, supporting many artists and musicians including Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Coco Chanel, the Ballets Russes, Serge Diaghilev, and Igor Stravinsky. The concert features music by Fauré, Grieg, Debussy, Duparc, with poetry by Verlaine, Baudelaire, and Rimbaud, performed by Canadian soprano Allison Angelo, actor Olga Primak, cellist Olena Kilchyk, as well as pianists Charles Foreman and Kathleen van Mourik.
