A modern take on the ancient story of Assembly Women by Aristophanes, Ambrose University Theatre presents this new adaptation by director Jeremy Mason.

When private wealth is banned and sexual equality for the old and unattractive is legislated, what could go wrong? A play within a play about the women of Athens assuming control of the government and instating pseudo-communist reforms, the production stars theatre diploma students Lindsay Carpenter, Anna-Clauric Gouandjia, Kalie Keays, and Caylie Kornelson alongside guest artist, Cari Mason.

Women in Parliament runs November 30 to December 2, 2017 at the Motel Theatre, Arts Commons (205 8th Ave. SE).
