Founded in 1994, the Mountain View Connection Concert Series provides opportunities for young musicians from around the world to gain valuable experience performing and perfecting chamber music repertoire. It’s your chance to hear vocal piano duo Laura Brandt and Evan Mounce alongside University of Calgary violinist Rena Far, pianist Jack Olszewski, and oboist Aidan Duga. The concert includes the Ravel violin sonata, Charles Ives’ Sunrise, songs by Strauss, Samuel Barber, and Donaudy, as well as music for oboe and piano. Catch the Young Artist Showcase at 7:30pm on February 10, 2019 at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 8th St. SW).
