Over past three months, Alberta Playwrights’ Network has facilitated a space for industry professionals and guest artists to work with LGBTQ+ youth by helping them tell their stories through the medium of playwriting and theatrical storytelling. A culmination of that work, professional actors and directors from the Calgary theatre community help craft and perform the pieces for this annual showcase. Catch the YOUth Riot Performance Showcase at 7:30pm on May 14, 2018 at Lunchbox Theatre (160, 115 9th Ave. SE).
