We’re Hiring: Summer Jobs
Join our team! We are currently recruiting for three temporary full-time roles to join our team from May to August 2026:
- Web Content Assistant: This position will work with the communications team to support improvements to our websites (calgaryartsdevelopment.com and yycwhatson.ca), conducting a comprehensive audit to help ensure they are clear, accessible, up-to-date and engaging resources.
- Community Outreach Ambassador: This position will work with the communications team to support our outreach and community-building efforts, with a focus on expanding participation in our community directory and sharing information about our resources.
- Digital Content Assistant: This position will work with the public art team to help build, maintain and share a visual archives of public art in Calgary, including to photograph and film new and existing public artworks, artworks in progress and artists at work.
These positions are supported by the Canada Summer Jobs Program. As a requirement of that program, applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 30. Preference will be given to students returning to school in the fall and to recent graduates. During the employment period, the positions will be supported for full-time work at $25 per hour.
