Karl-Heinz Durynek
For over 25 years, my work has focused on capturing and reflecting the beauty of nature found all around us. I seek out the often-missed details in backyards, fields, and open skies. Many of my paintings reflect and are linked by the common theme of nature: the beauty of a flower in detail, fallen leaves in a bird bath, or the swift-running river carving its way through the forest. Each painting, whether it is produced with watercolours or in oil paint, is a reflection of the way that I see the beauty of the Creator.
I hope that by capturing this natural beauty in my paintings, I will evoke a response in the viewer that gives them a sense of peace and a feeling of gratitude for the world around us.
