January 28, 2021 Operating Grant Program The Operating Grant Program provides stable, predictable funding to arts organizations in Calgary. Operating Grant funds may be allocated to any area of an arts organization’s budget and are confirmed on a yearly basis upon the receipt of an interim report until the end of 2022. In 2020, organizations had the opportunity to apply for an increase to their yearly grant, which was determined through a hybrid formula and peer assessment process.
