Discover Calgary’s New Public Art Guide
Explore the creativity that shapes our city through the new Calgary Public Art Guide — an interactive digital map highlighting the murals, sculptures, installations and community-led projects that bring life to Calgary’s public spaces.
Developed by Built by Field for Calgary Arts Development, this online tool invites users to explore public artworks across the city, from large-scale landmarks to hidden neighbourhood gems. Featuring city-owned pieces, privately commissioned works and grassroots initiatives, the map includes photos, artist bios and multimedia content to deepen your experience. Users can browse by location, type of artwork or theme — and enjoy interactive, self-guided tours that make exploring Calgary’s public art easy and engaging. The guide also allows people to contribute their own discoveries, helping the map grow through community participation.
