Fall Window Exhibition at Centre Street LRT Platform
This fall, commuters and visitors at the Centre Street LRT platform can discover a new exhibition on view in the window galleries from September through November 2025. Don’t Worry About My Yansh; I Am from Sokoto by Samuel Obadero (East Window Space) reflects on migration, memory and community through powerful photography. She, in All Her Elements by Richa Shukla (West Window Space) celebrates the feminine spirit with paintings that explore resilience, freedom and connection to nature.
This exhibition is part of the Open Spaces: Windows to a View program, showing works by local artists in partnership with the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI). Through this ongoing collaboration, ICAI creates opportunities for immigrant and newcomer artists to share their work with the public. This rotating exhibition series highlights diverse artistic voices while integrating art into Calgary’s transit spaces.
