Open Spaces: New Exhibition in the West Window
From December 2025 to March 2026, a new Open Spaces installation is on view at the Centre Street LRT platform (125 7 Ave. SE). Presented in partnership with The New Gallery — a collaboration that emerged through our Submit Your Public Art Ideas intake — the West Window exhibition features Gaptooth Sweatsuit, the Calgary-based art duo of Megan Kirk and Stephen Harper. The artworks on display are Oasis (It’s all downhill from here), a sculptural still-life framed in holographic vinyl, and You’re Late, a textile-based work exploring the humour and urgency of daily life.

The East Window exhibition featuring works by photographer Samuel Obadero, presented in partnership with the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI), has not been accessible for viewing due to nearby construction and is now extended until March 2026.
