You’re Invited: Public Art for Sustainable Futures Closing Celebration
Join us on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary Nature Centre as we wrap up Calgary Arts Development’s Public Art for Sustainable Futures Residency.
Since June 2025, eight local artists have been exploring how public art can respond to climate change. The artists participated in land-based learning (read the field trip blog post), research and engaging discussions with a group of mentors, experts and traditional knowledge keepers. The closing celebration will feature reflections from artists and mentors, hands-on activities, and community resources to take home.
This free, family-friendly gathering includes refreshments and outdoor programming — come prepared to enjoy the trails.
