ATB Financial Healing Through the Arts Award The ATB Financial Healing Through the Arts Award was established to recognize artists whose artistic practices encompass health and wellness to improve the wellbeing of individuals, groups or communities. The award is intended to promote the healing nature of the arts and its critical role as a means of expression for those facing physical or mental health issues. This is a $5,000 cash award, with funds intended to allow an artist the ability to continue their work and expand their impact. The award will be presented to the recipient as part of the Mayor’s Lunch for Arts Champions event in 2021 or at an alternate awards presentation event. This award was established by ATB Financial and is a legacy project of Calgary 2012, Calgary’s year as a Cultural Capital of Canada. About ATB Financial ATB Financial is an Alberta-built financial institution that is a catalyst for economic growth in our province.
