Mamdani Arts Leadership Award

The Mamdani Arts Leadership Award is a $5,000 cash award intended to recognize and reward the integral role of board members who lend their expertise, talent, and time to support the work of arts organizations and festivals that make Calgary a vibrant and creative city. This award honours an arts volunteer board member who goes above and beyond to support the logistics, programming, operations, and/or culture of the organization(s) they choose to support.

The award will be presented to the recipient as part of the Mayor’s Lunch for Arts Champions event in March 2019. This award was established by Strategic Group as well as Calgary 2012 and is a legacy project of Calgary’s year as a Cultural Capital of Canada.
