I am not an artist. But I’ve always known there is an artistic side of me. I love all art forms and often imagine myself doing something artsy. But it’s just in my imagination until the pandemic hit last year.

With all the time in the world, I ran out of things to do. So, I decided to paint, a very wild, spontaneous decision. To my surprise, I discovered that I could paint. I enjoyed painting landscapes the most.

During a road trip over last summer, I was so bored in the car. I wished I could paint but of course that wasn’t possible. I thought maybe drawing would be a better idea at the time so I did. It turned out to be better than expected. It was a strawberry. And that’s how I started to draw more and got better everyday.

Painting and drawing to me is an amazing way to escape reality when you need to and it’s very relaxing at the same time. I enjoy it very much and very happy to share my story with you. I hope this will inspire someone to keep learning and explore new things.
